CALL TO ORDER

Vice-President Madsen called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Director Beuscher moved to approve the minutes from March 25, 2019.

Director Madsen provided an update on the expansion of the urban growth boundary.

ACTION ITEMS

Resolution 19-2 Adoption of Six-Year Capital Facilities Plan and School Impact Fees

Marnie Allen presented a PowerPoint presentation explaining the capital facility requirements and the growth needs based on the forecast growth of a 575 increase in enrollment by 2025. Marnie continued with the financial needs and explained how the impact fees were calculated. The school board directors asked a few clarifying questions.

Director Donald moved to adopt Resolution 19-2 as presented.

Second Reading and Approval of Policy 5408

Director Stuart moved to approve the revisions to Policy 5408 as presented.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

2018 Healthy Youth Survey Report

Superintendent Green presented the survey results to the directors. He explained that the administration team would be looking at the data more in-depth.

The directors agreed that communication could be a great tool to help students and families understand the effects of screen time and suicide prevention.
